On Wednesday evening, Chol Hamoed Sukkos, NYS Governor David Paterson was welcomed into the Boro Park Jewish Community by NYS Assemblyman Dov Hikind at his Boro Park office. Approximately 100 community members were on hand to welcome and show their support to the Governor.

Paterson also attended the outdoor Simchas Beis Hashoevah on 13th Avenue, where he spoke and danced with local residents.

Democratic nominee for City Comptroller John Liu, and Public Advocate candidate Bill DiBlasio, also attended and addressed the gathering.
