VIDEO & PHOTOS: Bloomberg Visits Sukka’s In Boro Park & Crown Heights

On Tuesday evening, Mayor Bloomberg knocked on the 1,000,018th door of his campaign, part of a continuing effort to engage New Yorkers in a dialogue about the future of their City. The number 18 has a spiritual significance in Jewish culture because of its connection to the root word “chai,” which signifies life and living.

Mike made the knock at the home of Mendel and Esther Jaroslawicz on 41st Street in Boro Park. On their doorstep, the Mayor talked about the progress the Bloomberg Administration has made on the economy, crime reduction, education, and he asked for their support on Election Day.

To date, the campaign has made hundreds of thousand of phone calls and has thousands of volunteers in all five boroughs helping to spread the word about Mike’s record of progress and his plans for the next four years.

The Mayor then visited the Boro Park home of the noted Askan, R’ Abe Biderman, and then visited Crown Heights, where he was hosted in the Sukkah of real estate mogul Sholom Ber Drizin.

  2. It was great to see the ex- NYC Finance Commisioner Abe Biderman in his beautiful Sukkah. It was great seeing him again, and his stewardship of NYC Finances during his tenure was exemplary.
