Two primary races held on September 15 failed to yield a candidate with at least 40 percent of the vote, and a run-off election was held today.
Former Public Advocate Mark Green and Brooklyn Councilman Bill de Blasio battled it out for public advocate, while City Councilmen John Liu and David Yassky fought for the city comptroller seat.
