[VIDEO & PHOTO LINKS AT END OF ARTICLE] This afternoon, thousands of boys from local yeshivos along with leading Gedolim and Rabbonim gathered at the Bobover beis medrash in Boro Park for the annual Tehillim Gathering arranged by Tzorchei-Tzibur Haolami – a Misaskim Project, on behalf of all the sick people R”L among Klal Yisrael.The children recited several kapitlech of tehillim and davened Mincha together. They were joined by numerous Gedolei Yisrael and mechanchim including Rav Don Segal Shlita, who led the Tehilim, Harav Tirnauer Shlita, the Rav of Shomer Shabbos Shul recited the Avinu Malkeinu’s, and Rav Yecheskel Roth Shlita (Karlsburger Rav) who led them with the Selicha of the Shlosh Asrei Middos, and Shema Yisrael
In addition, over 150 locations across the globe participated through a live international audio and visual hookup. The sites include yeshivos and Bais Yaakovs across the United States and Canada, and places as far away as Mexico, Belgium, England, Switzerland, Manchester and Eretz Yisroel. The primary purpose of this gathering is to pray for all those among Klal Yisrael who are in desperate need of a refua sheleima.

Could somebody explain why certain Yeshivos refrained from joining? This is a Kiddush HaShem of highest order! Why would Mirrer Yeshiva, for example, not want its kids to be part of this? I stood there and cried! The Shaarei Shomayim burst open! The Himmel shook! The Kisay HaKavod was yoreid D’maos! Lucky are the kids over FIVE continents who partook! They had a Limud of a lifetime in how to be Chaveirim Kol Yisrael!
