Over 2,000 people were treated in the Uman first-aid command post set up near the Tzion of R’ Nachman over Rosh Hashanah, the daily HaMevaser reports.
Six Israeli physicians manned the post, which operated without interruption from 27 Elul until motzei Tzom Gedalyah. Also present were registered nurses and Hatzolah volunteers, and for the fifth consecutive year, the operation enjoyed the support and assistance of the Leumit HMO, which has a large chareidi client base in Israel. Physicians on hand included internal, pediatric, and trauma specialists, as well as a general practitioner and a psychiatrist.
Many injuries were related to cooking for yomtov in improvised field kitchens, including burns and soft tissue trauma. Other requests were for medications which mispalalim who came to Uman forgot to bring with them.
Heads of the Breslov community praised Mr. Shmuel Meulam, the director-general of Leumit, and the HMO, for its invaluable assistance during the yomtov stay at Uman.

The most called upon physician, the psychiatrist, determined that all cases involved a preexisting condition.
I don’t get it. Hatzolah can’t operate on the Palisades without being hassled by the cops yet they’re treating patients without interference in Ukraine.
