YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Moshe Aharon (Ari) Diskind Z”L. He was 58-years-old.

Ari was a well-known personality in Boro Park and Flatbush, always being Misameach Yidden. He had a incredible memory, and fascinated people by remembering details about their lives despite not having seen them in many years. He was blessed with the talent to imitate just about any famous figure, and was like a computer with thousands of one line jokes always ready to cheer people up.

Ari would use his talent to be Misameach everyone, and was always seen smiling and making people laugh.

For the past year, he was in a rehab facility after having an amputation due to diabetes.

He was Niftar suddenly on Monday afternoon.

Ari is survived by his brothers Pesach and Toivy; and his sisters Mati (Shaingarten) and Fraidy (Klapper).

The Levaya will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30AM at Shomrei Hachomos Chapels on Ft Hamilton Parkway in Boro Park.
