[PHOTO LINK BELOW] At approximately 6:00PM Tuesday afternoon, Flatbush Hatzolah responded to McDonald Avenue and Bay Parkway for a report of a person struck by a vehicle. Upon their arrival, they found a bicyclist lying on the street in traumatic arrest – with the car nowhere to be found.

The patient was pronounced dead at Maimonides Hospital a few minutes later, and the vehicle was located around the corner from the accident scene by officers from the 70th Pct.

The driver was not yet found, and detectives are working on the case.

Misaskim volunteers were on the scene, but their services were not needed.
