It appears NYS Governor Paterson’s approval rating may have bottomed out, according to the most recent Quinnipiac University poll.
Overall, voters disapprove of the job Paterson is doing by a margin of 61-to-28 percent. That is unchanged since May.
Paterson’s disapproval rating was highest among Republicans, while African American voters are the only demographic to overwhelmingly approve of the job the governor is doing.
In a hypothetical 2010 Democratic primary for governor, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has a nearly 3-to-1 edge over Paterson with 20 percent undecided.
Both Democrats and Republicans overwhelmingly approve of the job Cuomo is doing.
In a 2010 Democratic primary for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is almost even with U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.
Twenty-seven percent would back Maloney if she decides to run, while 23 percent support Gillibrand.
Four percent support Democrat downstate politician Jonathan Tisini.
The Quinnipiac poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.

Aw, too bad. I would have liked to have seen his ratings go to death valley, literally. I am just disgusted with his legitimizing toeva marriage.
According to Quinnipiac University? Does anyone really apply to that school? What is a Quinnipiac University?
