The following is an alert sent by the UJO Organization in Williamsburg:
Dear Williamsburg Parents,
Last week Thursday, we were notified of a few probable Swine-flu cases in Williamsburg.
We immediately sent out a letter, alerting the Mosdos to these cases, and the need to stay guard against the spreading of the flu. We guided them to be on the guard and immediately send home every child with flu-like symptoms. We are also in constant contact with the Department of Health, Dr. Statfield and Dr. Dick, in monitoring the situation and coordinating appropriate measures.
Since then, only one isolated case was confirmed. According to the experts, there is no reason to panic, but we have to be very cautious to stop the spread of this flu.
We plea with the parents to help stop the outbreak, by keeping a watchful eye against flu-like symptoms, and if they suspect flu symptoms they should not send their child to school.
Schools wanting more information should contact Mrs. Berman at the UJO, at 718.643.9700 X 231. Due the emergency, our office will be open tomorrow, despite the Memorial Day, and Mrs. Berman will be available to assist schools.

I am very proud of our UJO who are taking this issue seriously and keeping our precious children safe.
May we hear good news…
This is only suspected cases,
When Williamsburg has “Confirmed” cases of Bike Lanes, where is UJO? Why is only UJ CARE working to remove them?
Mrs. Berman has been a great help to us when our children need special ed services. We are sure she will give us the right information on how to deal with the swine flu. Thank you to UJO
#2, From Where Do You Know That UJ Care Is Working To Remove The Bike Lanes And UJO Not? Don’t Be A Hipocrit We All Know Who’s Working For The Interests Of Williamsburg!
