A judge has sentenced a fourth man convicted of plotting to kill military personnel in the Fort Dix trial to life plus 30 years in prison. Twenty-four-year-old cab driver Mohamad Shnewer of Cherry Hill was heard repeatedly on tapes made by an FBI informant talking about attacking the United States.

He also drove to Fort Dix and other military installations.

Shnewer told the judge that while he talked like a jihadist, he didn’t have what it takes to be one.

The judge called him the “epicenter of the conspiracy.” A jury convicted him and four other men in December.
 
The last defendant, Serdar Tatar, is also to sentenced Wednesday.

Three brothers received life sentences on Tuesday.

Fort Dix was named in honor of Major General John Adams Dix, who served in both the War of 1812 and the Civil War.
