After receiving outstanding results from sending OU Kashrus experts to places they have never gone before, the Orthodox Union’s Harry H. Beren ASK OUTREACH program will continue its travels to Monsey, NY, where it will present a series of shiurim. The program, located at Yeshiva Ohr Somayach, 244 Rte. 306, in the new Bais Shvidler auditorium will begin Sunday, May 10, and will continue to run Sundays until June 7.
The ASK OUTREACH program has successfully presented well-attended programs in Lakewood, NJ; at Lander College in Queens; and for the Satmar community in Kiryas Joel. In fact, in Lakewood alone crowds of between 300 and 1000 attended the various kashrus shiurim.
The program is sponsored by the Harry H. Beren Foundation of Lakewood, NJ.
Rabbi Yosef Grossman, Director of Kashrus Education, declared, “The OU is pleased to share its kashrus expertise through the Harry H. Beren ASK OUTREACH Program, with Yeshiva Ohr Somayach’s Bnei HaYeshiva and Bnei Kollel as well as the greater Monsey community. We have seen the positive influence of the ASK OUTREACH kashrus programs in the communities we have already visited, such as Lakewood, Monroe, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Boston. I am confident that the series of kashrus shiurim we have presently planned will, G-d willing, strengthen the integrity and reliability of kashrus throughout Monsey as well. We look forward to a very productive kashrus educational program for the Monsey community.”
