Israel – It took police a bit of time but the driver of a new white Porsche was apprehended over the weekend, clocked-in traveling on Highway 4 at 200 KPH, considerably faster than the 90 KPH speed limit.
The driver of the vehicle has managed to evade police for a number of weeks, clocked at speeds as high as 250 KPH, but it appears he placed a clear reflective plastic type strip over the vehicle’s license plates, preventing cameras from photographing the vehicle’s number.
A bit of computer work enabled police to narrow down the number of people owning a new white Porsche and police assigned unmarked vehicles to observe the homes of the owners, leading to the apprehension of the phantom driver.
Police followed the driver from his Savion home but traffic was too heavy to permit getting a good radar reading, also preventing the driver from driving too quickly. The detective vehicle however waited four hours until the return trip to Savion, which was late at night, and the driver was pulled over, placed under arrest and his vehicle impounded after he was recorded traveling 200 KPH (120 KPH).
He is not expected to receive his driver’s license back any time soon and will be taken before a traffic court judge in an expeditious fashion. Police add that when he was pulled over, he also had children in the vehicle.

what kind of plastic strip are we taking about?
“…after he was recorded traveling 200 KPH (120 KPH).”
Is it possible that the editor meant(120 *MPH*)?
he should be locked up for endangering the lives of his children!!
Good work by the police. Nice to see that a traffic matter was handled in a professional way, with a serious investigation, which led to a good result.
