President Clinton declined to endorse Mayor Michael Bloomberg for a third term, but said he’s doing a great job.
The popular Democrat was asked Monday at a joint news conference with Bloomberg whether he thought the billionaire independent should be re-elected.
Clinton would say only that Bloomberg is doing a great job. But earlier at the event, which was about an environmental announcement, Clinton spoke in the past tense about Bloomberg’s administration.
He said Bloomberg has been a great mayor because he focused on doing things that help people’s lives.
In 2005, Clinton supported the Democrat who challenged Bloomberg, who was then a Republican.

I thought the Clintons loved blacks! This is the second time he is pushing aside a black candidate. First was Carl McCall and now Willy Thompson.
In Clintonese this means he will be running for mayor of NY!
