The Kennedy family is seeking revenge against New York Gov. David Paterson for his treatment of Caroline Kennedy during her aborted bid for the senate seat vacated by Hillary Clinton, the New York Post reported.
“The governor’s going to pay for this,” a prominent Democrat told the New York Post. “Ted is furious. The family is furious. The Kennedys are now against the governor.”
Paterson allegedly implored Kennedy not to suddenly withdrawal from contention, New York magazine reported.
“You can’t withdraw. You’ve got to stay in this thing, and I’ll just not pick you,” Paterson allegedly told her during a phone conversation Wednesday.
The governor’s office is also being blamed for unflattering leaks about Kennedy’s taxes, her nanny and her marriage, sources told the Post.

the kennedy’s have to learn that there is no royalty in the United States of America. And they don’t hold monopoly over the US government and its seats in the congress. They must be treated like all other citizens. If this would be any other citizen who employed an illegal nanny and did the likes of what she did, I’m sure they would be grilled and nixed. So she and that family should face the same treatment. I’m sorry Uncle Ted, we don’t live in an anarchy. This is a democracy!!!

It seems Caroline got a chance and messed up her own debut. In all fairness, the Kennedys would be better to model themselves after John, whose first public position was in the military wher ehe distinguished himself, followed by the House, then the Senate. This starting at the top is more typical of the (recently abolished) hereditary House of Lords.
Hah. May all the Kennedy’s suffer the same fate as the rebbe’s curse has done to their brethren.
