Is there any indication or special reason (b’derech hateva)to think that this would happen now, at the eleventh hour of Bush’s presidency?
The president anounced all clemencies already and Pollard is not among them.
They said no more clemencies or commutations are coming from President Bush.

I was told by someone who has an “in with the white house” & that there is a strong possibilty but nothing is for sure and to keep on calling the white house.
For some odd reason when calling the whitehouse they ar enot accepting any calls and this is for the last 7 days so far. Could it be that the mass calling, e mailing got the whitehouse fed up and they are using the inarguration as an excuse not to pass on messages to the presidnet?

this is such a strange story that something tells me that jonathan must have stumbled across the u.s.’s single biggest secret.
he must be sitting on something huge if they refuse to let him out.
#8 and #9, If I remember correctly, a number of years ago both Senators Lieberman and Schummer were shown the information which Pollard had provided to Israel. Afterward Lieberman stated how he could not picture Pollard getting out after he did what he did, whilst Schummer asked what the fuss was about, there was nothing of note compromised.

Just to follow up on the last point. A review of the facts clearly demonstrates that Jonathan Pollard does not possess any “mega secrets.” Rather, the Justice Department in conjunction with various intelligence officials simply wish to save face in view of their mishandling of the Pollard matter. If Pollard is privy to some highly sensitive information, I can assure you, at some point over the last 23 years, he would have given this information to one of the hundreds of trusted visitors. This is nothing more than a truly unfortunate situation which, at this juncture, requires our heartfelt tefilos, nothing less.
It is extremely troubling that Ex President Bush did not pardon, either Jonathan Pollard or “Scooter” Libby, both Jews! In the the end, he capitulated to his Daddy!
