Rav Chaim Stein To Attend Bonei Olam of Lakewood 5th Anniversary Dinner

rcs.jpgIn just about two weeks, the Lakewood community will be celebrating alongside Bonei Olam of Lakewood at the milestone 5th anniversary dinner.

Bonei Olam, the renowned organization that assists couples who are experiencing childlessness, has been helping Lakewood couples for almost a decade now. Of the over 1,350 babies born to Bonei Olam assisted couples around the world, nearly 150 of those babies are Lakewood children!

Bonei Olam of Lakewood opened its doors 5 years ago, and has always been there for each and every couple that needed assistance. Whether it was for advanced infertility, high risk pregnancy, genetics, pre/post cancer or adoption related, Bonei Olam has always answered the calls with respect, dignity and confidentiality.

Dozens of Lakewood couples – our friends, neighbors and relatives- are currently awaiting their chance to have a child of their own, and Bonei Olam of Lakewood is relying on the support of the Lakewood community to be able to continue facilitating miracles.

To that end, Bonei Olam will be hosting their 5th anniversary dinner in Lakewood to give the greater community a chance to participate and enable Bonei Olam to continue its vital work in Lakewood.

The Lakewood community is abuzz about the news that Maran HaRav Chaim Stein Shlita, Rosh Hayeshiva of Telz and the Zkan Roshei Hayeshivos in America will be making the special trip from Cleveland to grace the dinner with his presence.

The Rosh Yeshiva, who hardly leaves his Yeshiva, has expressed his desire to make this difficult trip to show in what esteem he regards the work of Bonei Olam. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Bnei Torah in Lakewood to come and see the revered Rosh HaYeshiva, one of the Gedolei HaDor,  in person.

If the Rosh Yeshiva can make the trip from 500 miles away, surely the residents of  Lakewood and the surrounding areas must make every effort to attend and participate in this momentous occasion, which will surely be a Ma’amad of Kidush Hashem and Kavod HaTorah.

To place an ad in the commemorative journal being published for the occasion, contact Bonei Olam of Lakewood office at 732-942-7773. Fax: 732-942-0111 email: [email protected] .

  1. No, The rosh yeshiva is not coming in for a dinner. Your writing as if the rosh yeshiva is interested in food. The rosh yeshiva is trying to give chizuk and remind people why it’s worthy organization and therfore to give money even in hard times. Give tzedaka and hashem gives more money back to you.

  2. IY”H the Rosh Yeshiva will also be visiting other places to give Chizuk and Hisorirus while here in NY. One of those stops will be to the Avos Ubanim program on Motzoei Shabbos to a Shul in Flatbush where many young boys who come to learn each week will have the Zchus to meet the Rosh Yeshiva in person, see his Hadras Ponim and hear Divrei hisorirus from the Rosh Yeshiva Shlita. Each child will forever remember his chance to meet such a Gadol Byisroel.

(B”H this Shul brings a Gadol each year to their Avos Ubonim as a lifetime treasure for their boys. Three years ago they had Horav Shmuel Kaminetzky shlita, two years ago they had Horav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg Shlit”a and last year had Horav Arye Malkiel Kotler Shlit”a. These Roshei Yeshiva joined the boys at their Avos Ubanim, spoke to the boys for a few minutes about the Chashivus of learning with their fathers especially on a Motzoei Shabbos then every boy (and his father) had a chance to give Sholom and ask for a Bracha from their special guest. Many of these boys now have a picture of themselves with the Roshei Yeshiva – something to have forever. They also get a beautiful 8×10 picture of the Rosh Yeshiva taken by the famous photographer of Gedolay Yisroel – R’ Tzemach Glenn – to take home. Indeed a very special Zchus for the boys and a Yasher Koach to the Shul for arranging it.)
