10:15AM EST: Approximately 11 swastikas were found this morning in the heart of Williamsburg’s Chasidic community, YWN has learned.

The swastikas were found by shocked residents early this morning on multiple buildings in the vicinity of 783 Bedford Avenue. Williamsburg Shomrim (WSPU) were contacted, who in turn have called the NYPD.

At the present time, the Inspector of the 79th Precinct is on the scene along with the WSPU Coordinator, and are awaiting the arrival of the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Bureau.

Detectives are searching for any clues, and trying to ascertain if there were any CCTV cameras which may have captured the incident on tape.
