Tears followed in Mumbai on Monday when 2-year-old Moishele cried, painfully calling for “Abba” and “Ima”, wondering why they have not been responding to his endearing pleas.
Moshe attended the memorial ceremony in Mumbai, in the presence of the Israelis who flew to there to take part in rescue efforts as well as members of the local Jewish community.
Zaka officials also removed a sefer torah from the Chabad House, reporting it was bullet ridden but intact, serving as witness to the carnage that occurred at that location.
Rav Shimon Rosenberg, Rivka’s father, said it was imperative that the Bet Chabad return to its former operation in the community as soon as possible, adding that I”YH, one day Moishele will return to run the operation.
The grandparents, Rav Shimon and his wife Frieda, are indicating they plan to raise Moishe in Eretz Yisrael together with his nanny Sandra Samuel, who saved his life. They hope that one day he will continue the word that his parents began.

There is an old Yiddish saying “A person is sometimes weaker than a fly and sometimes stronger than metal”. This is what I see when I read the comments. We feel so helpless one minute and suddenly we all want to jump up and “show the terrorists” that we will be stronger and stronger in our efforts. Boy, Hashem has a nation that he can really be proud of!!!
