YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Binyomin Dinovitz ZATZAL – one the Zakan Habbonim of Baltimore – Rov of Ohel Yaakov Congregation on Glen Avenue in Baltimore, MD.
Rabbi Dinovitz ZATZAL was one of the first talmidim of Hagon Rav Yakov Ruderman ZATZAL, Rosh Hayeshivah Ner Yisrael, and was a musmach of the Posek Hador, Hagon Rav Moshe Feinstein ZATZAL. He was known for his outstanding acts of chesed – as the doors of his home were always open to anyone.
Rabbi Dinovitz was one of the senior Rabbanim of the Vaad Harabanim of Baltimore, and helped many, many families become frum. He was was Rov of his Shul for over 50 years.
He leaves his choshuva almana, Rebettizin Gitty (Sheinerman) Dinovitz and two sons, Rabbi Yankie Dinovitz and Rabbi Peretz Dinovitz – both of Baltimore.
The Levaya will be on Thursday 11/20/08 at 10:00AM at his shul (Ohel Yaakov) 3200 Glen Ave, Baltimore Md.

This Rav was a mentch par excellence, a friend to all who knew him, a humble nistor who will leave the Baltimore Community darkened with his leaving this Olam . It is a sad day for all a KLall Yisroel.
