Gasoline prices in New Jersey continue to drop as Garden State residents prepare to hit the roads for the “holiday season”.
AAA tells the Associated Press that the average price for regular is $1.97 a gallon, compared to last years (at this time) $2.92.
It’s the first time since Dec. 5, 2005 that the average price was under $2 a gallon. The last time the price was $1.97 was in March of 2005.
The average prices are reportedly lower in New Jersey’s Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties – at $1.89 a gallon. Meanwhile, the average prices remain higher in Bergen and Passaic counties.
Over all, the AAA reports that prices in some 22 states are now under the $2 average.

Is it possible that Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties move to Flatbush?
Could someone explain why ElAl hasn’t lowered their fares and are still charging fuel surcharges? It’s time for the Israeli gov’t to exert some pressure or tourism will be vastly impacted.
