A South Texas grand jury has indicted Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on charges related to the alleged abuse of prisoners in Willacy County’s federal detention centers.
The indictment criticizes Cheney’s investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds interests in the private prison companies running the federal detention centers. It accuses Cheney of a conflict of interest and “at least misdemeanor assaults” on detainees by working through the prison companies.
Gonzales is accused of using his position while in office to stop an investigation into abuses at the federal detention centers.
Another indictment charges state Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr. with profiting from his public office by accepting honoraria from prison management companies.
Also indicted are state District Judges Janet Leal, state District Judge Migdalia Lopez, The GEO Group (formerly Wackenhut Corporation), former U.S. Attorney Mervyn Mosbacher, Gus Garza and Gilberto Lozano.
They all face a stream of criminal charges including abuse of office, profiting from office, and murder.

The Democrats have destroyed our economy and business and now they want to bail out the companies that they get kickbacks from. The printing of more money is just going to destroy the value of our money and then there will be no more free markets in USA. Why is Obama appointing all the no-good Clinton people? He has no idea how to run a country. So now they will make Bush people look like criminals to make themselves look good.

The main reason I’m suspicious about this grand jury is because they indicted 2 Judges. While there is some scrutiny to become an attorney general or the VP, there is a lot of scrunity to become a Judge. Here they indicted not one Judge but two. It’s hard to believe two district Judges would break federal law. Something smells.

Sometimes you’ll sit in a shul or bais midrash, hearing people discussing a current topic, and someone will pop up & say: “Rush said on yesterday’s talk-show, Michael Savage holds this or that, Mark Levin blasted the liberals,”. Sometimes these are kollel yungerleit. It is beyond comprehension! How can a frum yid – let alone a Ben Torah – get his hashkofos from these idiots? What happened to the Daas torah of our gedolim? It seemes noone is even interested in what the gedolim say, only in order to mock or knock them. Rachmana Litzlan!
