Moshe Chaim received his award in the presence of Jemal Ajiashvili, Vice Ambassador of Georgia in Israel. The Vice Ambassador noted that Moshe Chaim was a source of pride to all Georgians.

Moshe Chaim had been a talmid at Yeshiva Tiferes Zvi, a yeshiva founded by the Vaad L’Hatzolas Nidchei Yisroel. After several years of study, the Vaad arranged for Moshe Chaim to learn in the Stolin Yeshiva in Beitar in Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Baruch Lovett of the Vaad commented that Moshe Chaim serves as a role model to all the other talmidim and talmidos in Tibilisi. With hard work and perseverance, they are able to compete with the best of the other yeshiva students around the world.

The Vaad L’Hatzolas Nidchei Yisroel has been sponsoring kiruv programs in the former Soviet Union for almost three decades. Thousands of Yidden who were deprived of Torah and Mitzvos due to Soviet persecution are now Shomer Torah U’Mitzvos. Moshe Chaim Mdinrazde gives testimony to the rebirth of Yiddishkeit in the former Soviet Union.
