The military has informed Gaza residents of the northern Beit Lahiya area on Shabbos that they may return to their homes as the IDF is leaving that area.

Reports from Gaza signal that IDF forces in Beit Lahiya have indeed withdrawn from that area. Senior military officials are reporting the overwhelming number of tunnels have already been destroyed and the re remainder will be destroyed in the coming hours.

IDF forces continue operating in other areas of Gaza.
