Lakewood Hatzolah was dispatched to the scene of a serious MVA a short while after the end of Shabbos at Hope Road and New Central Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene, numerous resources were requested to respond – including Lakewood Hatzolah Paramedics along with Rescue Units to extricate one victim heavily entrapped in the vehicle.
One person has been pronounced dead, and at least three others have been transported to the Jersey Shore Trauma Center for various injuries.
The road remains closed, as the Lakewood Police conducts an investigation.
Misaskim & Chevra Kadisha services were not needed for this incident.

This location is not in Lakewood but Jackson. This being the case, it is probably Jackson police closing the road.
you are obviously not so baki! since when is Hope and New Central considered Jackson? Maybe in your eruv techumim.
Sorry # 2 but he is right that is already jackson territory the injured where transported by jackson first aid and the extraction was done by jackson fd so get your facts straight before u start to mock some one
Shema, it is Jackson. Check you facts before making smart aleck comments. . .
Not sure how you’re measuring, but look at any map, look at the addresses on both Hope and New Central, look at the recycling garbage cans, they are all from Jackson. Lakewood ends shortly past Central Park.
“Shema Stated: ‘you are obviously not so baki! since when is Hope and New Central considered Jackson? Maybe in your eruv techumim. ” If you wouldn’t just run your mouth and know that the Lakewood border is not a staright line, then you might know where is Lakewood and where Jackson begins.

I can’t believe what I’m reading. Someone has lost a life, others injured and the only things you can think of posting are the mistakes of the location??? Shame on you! I pray that the families recover quickly from this, both physically and emotionally.
