Flatbush Chaveirim Hosts Member Appreciation Event Honoring Dedicated Volunteers

This past Motzaei Shabbos, March 1st, Flatbush Chaveirim held its annual Member Appreciation Event, celebrating the tireless efforts of its 90+ volunteers who respond to thousands of emergency calls each year.

The event, organized by Zidele Events, Brooklyn Party Rental, and YW Productions, honored volunteers who assist the community 24/7 with car troubles, lockouts, and emergency equipment loans. In the past year alone, Chaveirim responded to 15,000 calls and lent out over 1,000 pieces of equipment to families in need. To meet growing demand, they recently expanded their team and storage facilities.

Distinguished guests, including NYPD officials, community leaders, and elected representatives, attended to express their gratitude. Awards were presented to members who handled over 1000 and 400 calls, as well as senior volunteers with 15+ years of service.

The evening underscored Chaveirim’s unwavering commitment to the community. With more members, resources, and dedication than ever, Flatbush Chaveirim continues to be a lifeline for those in need.
