CNN Data Expert: Trump Victory Over Harris Becoming “Obvious” Outcome [VIDEO]

CNN senior political data reporter Harry Enten on Wednesday pointed to several indicators that former President Donald Trump could defeat Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election, calling a potential Trump victory an “obvious” possibility. In a segment with CNN anchor John Berman, Enten outlined data showing a challenging path for Democrats in the final days of the campaign.

One major obstacle for Harris, according to Enten, is public dissatisfaction with the country’s direction. Drawing from an aggregate of polls, Enten noted that incumbents whose parties win reelection average around 42% satisfaction with the country’s trajectory, while those who lose average closer to 25%. The current rating stands at 28%, historically correlating with incumbent party losses.

“Very few Americans think the country is on the right track at this point. It’s in line with when the incumbent party loses, not when it wins,” Enten remarked, adding, “I went back through history, and there isn’t a single time with this low a percentage when the incumbent party has actually won.”

Enten also highlighted a significant Republican advantage in voter registration, particularly in battleground states like Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, where GOP voter registration is outpacing Democratic efforts. Enten underscored that Republicans are strategically bolstering their base, shrinking the registration gap.

“If Trump does win, the signs all along will have been obvious,” Enten warned, noting key factors like low national satisfaction and voter registration gains for Republicans. “You can’t say you weren’t warned,” he added.

  1. How pathetic. YWN leaves out Part 2 of Entin’s presentation where he says if Harris wins the signs were as clear as day. Entin’s point is that each candidate can marshall historical data in their favor.

  2. i love it how he goes into explaining the self explanatory.
like I can’t see the info on the chart myself.
“Oh NV stands for Nevada, and it looks like it’s on the chart so the GOP is out registering republicans? oh! i couldn’t of figured that out from the graphic. by how much pray tell? ‘big registration gains’
    oh.

They must think that their viewers have the IQ of a Quayle Potatoe…

  3. If you watched the video he says “again, this is the data that supports a trump victory, Tomorow viewers you will get the other side.”
    “Stay tuned”

  4. “Tomorow viewers, you will get the other side.”
They can’t bear to possibly get the results wrong, and they must appeal to
their viewers- all of which are Kamala supporters…
Their only possible victory is with fraud, as they have already begun doing.

  5. Pure Nonsense. Harris will win regardless how many more million of Trump supporters vote out of the woodwork. Dems can produce as nany mailin ballots as they require. I just hope a civil war does not break out
