The attack which left three Jews, youths affiliated with Bnei Akiva, injured in France was condemned by France’s interior minister and other officials.
The three males were attacked on a street by Muslims using brass knuckles and stones, resulting in head injuries and facial fractures. They are described in light and light-to-moderate condition.
The attack occurred on Shabbos afternoon as the three were making their way to a Bnei Akiva function. Some of the group of at least 10 attackers were armed with knives as well.
Following their release from hospital, the victims filed police complaints.

Strange headlines.
Jewish youth attacked end of story.
Who cares if they were affliated with Young Israel, Zaka, Netreu Karta, Lakewood yeshiva or the Hadassah hospital youth? Were they attacked since they were ‘Bnei Akiva’ youth going to a function, if they were not Bnei Akiva’ they would NOT have been attacked. As I said “strange headlines”.
R”L on our Achim Yehudim.
Y”S on the bnei Yishmael.
Why does this article define them as “Bnei Akiva”? Why does it matter that they are not Chareidim or Chiluni? They are part of Klal Yisroel, and we should feel the pain of any of our Achim in Tzara.
They are singled out as “Bnei Akiva” because to the majority of charedim, the “Bnei Akiva” group is considered lesser Jews.
And before you jump down my throat and say it’s not true, come and live in Israel for a while.
Without relating to how bnei akiva youths are looked upon anywhere, the criticism against the writer here is uncalled for. I personally know this writer and I do not for a second think that he had any intention of maligning bnei akiva youths.
France is a big country. Does anyone know where in France it happened?
