Ger Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Shaul Alter Shlit”a, To Visit Lakewood, Boro Park Next Week


As first reported by Lakewood Alerts, the venerated and world-renowned Rosh Yeshiva of Ger, Rav Shaul Alter shlit”a, is scheduled to depart Eretz Yisroel on Motzei Shabbos for a relatively short visit to the United States for the purpose of fundraising for his mosdos, as well as to provide much-needed Chizzuk to his multitudes of followers in the U.S.

Rav Shaul is scheduled to land in the U.S. early Sunday morning, and will begin his visit by davening a 7:30 am Shacharis at the Ger Shtiebel in Lakewood, located at 13 Lucy Road. He will then attend several parlor meetings around Lakewood throughout the day before delivering a shiur at the Lakewood Commons shul, 44 Coles Way, at 7 pm. On Monday morning, the rosh yeshiva will travel to Florida, where he will meet with the kehilla, as well as additional donors to his mosdos. He will then return to the tri-state, heading to Boro Park for a major event on Tuesday, in which he will participate in a Kinnus Chizzuk and Hisorerus at The Palace, 780 McDonald Avenue, beginning at 7:30 pm.

He will daven Shacharis on Wednesday morning at Eminence Hall, 4315 16th Avenue, at 7:30 am.
