Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie predicted on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump will be convicted in one of his ongoing legal trials, stating, “it’s over” for Trump.
This assertion comes in the wake of Mark Meadows, Trump’s former White House chief of staff, securing an immunity deal in relation to the case last week. Christie, during an MSNBC interview, commented on Meadows’ proximity to Trump throughout the 2020 campaign, mentioning, “And so this is deadly, it’s done. He’s going to be convicted. … It’s over.”
Christie, appearing on “Morning Joe”, emphasized the significance of the forthcoming trial for Republican voters. “He’s going to be sitting in a courtroom in Washington, D.C., with Mark Meadows 20 feet away from him, saying, ‘He committed crimes in front of me on my watch,'” he said.
Federal prosecutors charged Trump in August regarding his alleged endeavors to retain power after the 2020 election results. Although Meadows wasn’t implicated in the Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith’s case, he was indicted alongside Trump in Georgia over a purported plot to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results.
Meadows’ immunity deal was reported by ABC News last week, revealing his agreement to testify before a D.C. grand jury in the election interference case.
Having previously served as a federal prosecutor, Christie expressed skepticism over Trump’s potential to stall his legal confrontations in light of his ongoing presidential campaign. “I don’t have the impression that this district court judge in Washington is amenable to delay,” Christie remarked, hinting at Judge Tanya Chutkan’s inclination to progress the case.
Last week, Christie implied that Trump should be concerned following the immunity granted to Meadows, stating, “You don’t give Mark Meadows immunity unless the evidence he has is unimpeachable.”

It doesn’t matter if he’s convicted in any of these Banana Republic “courts”, he can still run, be elected and serve as President.
Christie will never be president.

Generally, I hate Trump and think it’s stupid and dangerous to support him in next election (even though I’ve voted for him in the past).
However, I must say, very interesting clip there. After watching all the clips they had of Trump, I couldn’t wait for the commentary to show how dumb Trump was, because honestly, the only thing in all the clips that struck me as weird was his pronunciation of Hamas.
Finally, they start talking, and lo and behold, the ONLY issue they can point out with Trump in all of those clips is… his pronunciation of Hamas! I mean, it’s weird, but I wouldn’t make a whole video compilation to point it out! (And should I point out that the commentator thinks that that’s how you pronounce Hummus, and then he makes fun of TRUMP’s pronunciation!?!?)
Then they go on talking about how Trump is all mixed up and keeps on forgetting who he’s running against in all the clips (“although, Biden does that TOO” 😆). Now, unless YWN cut out the beginning, I didn’t see ANY of that in these clips.
This is all so ridiculous. If you can’t say the real problems with Trump, and your only issue is his pronunciation of an Islamic terrorist group, then shut up and leave it to the smart guys to take over.
