Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva Call To All Attend The Siyum This Sunday In Bell Works

The Roshei Yeshiva of Lakewood wrote a letter encouraging universal participation in the upcoming Daf Yomi Siyum on Seder Nashim.

This tekufah is particularly important, they said, since it is the halfway point of the Daf Yomi cycle as well as the 100th anniversary of R’ Meir Shapiro zt”l suggesting the idea of Daf Yomi. The Rabbanim also reminded Klal Yisroel of the tremendous koach of achdus that the the limud haTorah of Daf Yomi brings, and how vital such achdus is during an eis tzarah.

Chaver Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah Rav Yerucham Olshin, Rosh HaYeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha and one of the signors of this letter, will attend the siyum to give divrei brachah and chizuk to the siyum’s participants.

  1. I know I’m not a Rav or Rosh Yeshiva, I’m just an average Joe, but with the matzav in Eretz Yisroel, to have such an outwardly public exuberant event doesn’t seem right and also potentially dangerous
