  1. i understand they don’t want anyone parking at Bais Yehudah. Everyone is supposed to park at the Crown Point office building across Greenfield Rd from the Yeshivah.

  2. This is a huge loss for Detroit and Cleveland. Rabbi Fishman, zt”l, cared deeply for all of his talmidim, friends, and colleagues. He had tremendous ahavas yisroel, and was someone who always listened to the concerns of others. All of those who knew him should focus on those lessons – especially being Tisha B’Av. May he be a meilitz yosher for all of us.

  3. to #11, order of speakers was

    2. Rav Yehuda Blum, Rav Khal Yereim Cleveland
    3. Mr. Gary Torgow, President of Yeshiva Beth Yehuda Detroit
    4. Rav Yeshaya Fishman, son of the nifter
    5. Rav Avrohom Chaim Levin, Rosh Yeshivas Telshe Chicago
    6. Rav Shmuel Irons, Rosh Kollel Detroit
    7. Rav Yitzchok Grossbard, YBY

#1 and #5 were not present but spoke via telephone/hookup

  4. HOW LONG WILL THE FAMILY BE SITTING IN DETROIT? WILL THE REST OF THE FAMILY BE JOINING AFTER THE KEVURAH IN DETROIT?

I was zoche to know Rabbi Fishman in Cleveland and he was always a pleasant, and dynamic personality. He gave his all for Torah and his passing should be a kapara for us all.

  6. As amember of the YBY staff in Detroit, I saw and spoke to Rabbi Fishman almost daily. He was a wonderful, caring, nice man who always wore a smile. We all miss you, Rabbi! May you be blessed in Gan Eden.

  7. Rabbi Fishman Z”L is leaving us a tremendous void with his untimely Petirah. He was a man of remarkable talents and TREMENDOUS Ahavas Yisroel. His Simchas HaChaim permeated his entire essence and you felt uplifted and excited after speaking to him. Detroit and Cleveland has lost a Mechanech par excellence which treated his students as if they were his own children.
May his family and community know of only Simchos.
May his Petira on Tisha B’Av serve as a catalyst for the coming of Moshiach and the Geulah Shleima. Amein
