(Click HERE for photos) Monticello, NY: A fire caused heavy water and smoke damage in two bungalows Friday afternoon, at Nachley Emunah Bungalow Colony on Joyland Road.

The fire spread quickly through the walls of the bungalow, but Boruch Hashem, the occupants were not home at the time.

The Monticello FD, Sheriff Department, NYSP, along with Catskills Hatzolah responded to the scene. Boruch Hashem there were no injuries reported, and the fire was brought under control in a short time – thanks to the quick response of the Monticello Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is being investigated at this time.
