A yeshiva bochur in a Catskills camp was airlifted to Albany Medical Center on Tuesday after falling approximately 15 feet and striking his head.
Catskills Hatzolah immediately rushed to the area after the accident, which occurred on Ulster Heights Road.
Hatzolah and other emergency personnel extricated the victim from the area, and subsequently transported him to the hospital via Medevac with a head injury.
Please daven for Chuna Nosson ben Miriam Raizel.

A total Refuah
Amen
where is the privacy for this bucher
If the amount of money used for these medivac rescues were instead used for buying people sneakers (not even hiking shoes), so they’d be going out with proper footwear, rather than shabbos shoes, we’d see a lot less need for these rescues. (And to supply them as well with cell phones that have the Alltrails app, which does not require wifi or cell service in order to work)>
Or, better yet, Rabbonim could make a takkana: No proper shoes and no cell phone with Alltrails hiking app on it, no hiking.
Ask Catskils rescuers (or Harriman rescuers) if they ever need to do dramatic rescues for anyone other than frum bochrim.
He should have a complete refuah sheleimah.
Without meaning to imply that this was the case here, I want to point out that I’ve seen frum bucharim and men do dangerous things like stand at the edge of cliffs and not taking into consideration the consequences their actions may have. Please hike with caution and don’t think you are immune to the consequences of stupid actions.
