Mazel Tov! Kushner, Ivanka Trump Celebrate Daughter’s Bas-Mitzvah

Arabella Kushner, the daughter of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, celebrated her bas-mitzvah over the weekend.

Arabella’s grandfather, Donald Trump, threw Arabella a pre-Bas-Mitvah dinner several weeks ago.

“Thank you, Dad and Melania, for throwing Arabella the sweetest birthday dinner at Mar-a-Logo a few weeks ago in advance of her Bat Mitzvah,” Ivanka Trump wrote. “It was very special. We love you both so much!”

The Kushners sponsored the kiddush at the Young Israel shul in Surfside this past Shabbos in honor of Arabella’s bas mitzvah.

Ivanka wrote about the bas-mitzvah: “With an abundance of love and immense pride, Jared and I celebrated our daughter Arabella’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. We reflect on the weekend with full hearts and an abundance of joy and gratitude. From her commitment to feeding hungry families through the Jewish Community Service Kosher Food Bank to supporting children with special needs through her work volunteering with the Friendship Circle and Whispering Manes, Arabella’s giving heart and commitment to making a positive impact embodies the spirit of this special milestone.”

“We couldn’t be prouder of the extraordinary young woman she has become. Her kindness, creativity, humor, empathy and passion have filled our lives with so much joy and inspiration. May her Bat Mitzvah be the beginning of a beautiful and fulfilling chapter in her life.”

“With an abundance of love and immense pride, Jared and I celebrated our daughter Arabella’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend,” Ivanka Trump wrote on Instagram Tuesday morning.

  1. Some comments go beyond the pale, and a moderator needs to weed them out.
If such a comment like the one made above by Major knucker is allowed to remain here…that’s just horrible and reflects poorly on the one who made the comment, as well as, on the ones who allow it to remain posted.

  2. I wonder if found guilty the expotus will get sent to Ottisville like Kushners daddy. Talk about a merger by marriage of crime families.

  3. @majorknucker- you should be ashamed of yourself. What makes you so holy? I have seen many, many yiddelech here in certain shuls in monsey who dont daven a single word. And those who have no respect for a shul, kriyas hatorah, davening, etc. But to fress kugel and chulent, they are always ready.
Spare everyone your despicable comments. I guarantee you that in many ways, she is frummer than you.

  4. To anyone that questions the Geirus. Here is an exercise for you… Open a Shulchan Aruch or a Rambam and Learn Hilchos Geirus. Then come back here and apologize…

  5. At least she has the good sense to stay as far away as possible from the current circus and the recent MAGA rallies which have taken on a weird white supremacist/Christian nationalist tone.

  6. Major knucker: Shame on you. Ivanka was converted by Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, a very well-known and respected Modern Orthodox rabbi whose גיור is recognized by the Chief Rabbinate. You might have heard of him. He’s the rabbi emeritus of Kehilath Jeshurun (KJ) on the Upper East Side of Manhattan as well as the retired principal of Ramaz. And for your information, Ivanka carries a pocket ArtScroll siddur with her and davens, rather than schmoozes, in shul.

  7. According to sources they used Cholov Yisroel cheese melted on the Glatt Kosher burgers wrapped together in a Pas Yisroel bun. The dishes Donald Trump supplied at Mar-a-lago was throughly rinsed from the lobsters served on them from the previous party.

  8. What is not understandable is why this news is of interest to anyone here of a halachic gentile celebrating a so-called “bat mitzvah” with her halachicly gentile mother that underwent a paid-for invalid so-called “conversion”, solely for the purpose of making her fiance’s parents think he wasn’t marrying out of the faith. Despite her never having the intentions of keeping the 613 and never having observed the 613 required of a sincere convert.

  9. Mazel tov to trumps granddaughter but major knucker has a point
when somebody covert to geiros they have to take the 613 mitzvas upon themselves and if they dont they are not considered a proper jew
so do kushner and ivanka keep shabbos?
    do they eat kosher?
so major knucker has a point rather than feelings of some of the comments

  10. Someone who isn’t shomer Shabbos is considered as a non-Jew. By their own admission, there were times when Trump was President that they decided to be mechalel Shabbos, ergo…….

  11. Knobler: Haskel Lookstein is a moneyed church attending “rabbi”. Even his own RCA criticized him for going to a church service to celebrate Obama’s inauguration, after the originally invited rabbi refused to attend the church.

  12. Macher: Ivanka was tweeting on Shabbos even before the water from her mikva dunk dried off. And she never stopped dressing like a prutza, already wearing revealing clothing at her wedding that occurred quickly after her so-called “conversion” — that she only playfully went thru in the first place to placate Jared’s parents, so they should be able to hide the shonda of their son marrying a shiksa.

  13. Major knucker, the hiemeshe macher,SPOT ON.why YWN are posting these zachen i do not know.these people are a stain on klal yisrael,EIRUV RAAAAAAV!!!they are degrading the kedusha and tahara of the klal.act like a jew and then well talk.

  14. When Jews baselessly accuse one another of sinfulness, that is a reflection of their own biases and שנאת חינם. Unless there are two witnesses, you’ve got nothing to talk about. Past that, every Jew has a חזקת כשרות.

UJM: Your comment about Ivanka and the mikvah just shows where your mind is. And blithely throwing around hurtful, ugly words like “prutza” and “shiksa” – in describing a גיורת no less – reflects a venom and meanness unbecoming a בן תורה.

The גיור was halachic and Ivanka sacrificed a great deal socially when she decided to become a בת ישראל. She and her husband are members of an Orthodox shul, and they send their children to a yeshiva. You’re not satisfied? Too bad. You should spend less time measuring the פרומקייט of others and worry more about how your own behavior reflects on your upbringing, community and professed values.

A true mensch does not demand that the world conform to his sensibilities. He lives his own life without howling execration at those who are different. Be מחמיר for yourself and מקל to others.

  15. Dear Knobler,
we are saying facts from the torah, UJM Major knucker and Gevalt are all 100% correct,
there is no need to get so agressive over a comment u dislike because it doesnt suit your agenda.
u cant start arguing with the torah to fit your narrative.
jews in germany pre holocaust also had memberships in orthodox shuls but werent shoimer shabbos or kept any of the other mitzvos.
So please stop changing the truth to fit something u dislike.
