YWN has received multiple reports that there is extremely heavy traffic on the Garden State Parkway going south-bound from Mile Marker 123. There are multiple MVA’s reported, along with a car fire, and traffic due to a concert at the PNC Arts Center.

Please use alternate routes while travelling to Southern New Jersey (Lakewood, Deal, etc)

Additionally, The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is reporting major delays on the Garden State Parkway local and express roadways southbound south of Exit 114, from Red Hill Road in Middletown at mile post 113 to south of Exit 109, at Route 520 in Middletown at mile post 110. Major delays and a 3-mile backup are also reported on the Parkway local and express roadways southbound north of Exit 116, at PNC Arts Center in Holmdel (mile post 117) to Exit 114 at Red Hill Road in Holmdel (mile post 114.2).
