Trump: Manhattan DA Should Be Charged With “INTERFERENCE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION”

Former US President Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, claiming he should be indicted for interfering with his 2024 presidential campaign. In a series of ALL-CAPS tweets on Sunday night, Trump alleged that the Manhattan DA’s office was being controlled by the Biden White House and called Bragg a “Soros backed DA”.

“ALVIN BRAGG SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE CRIME OF “INTERFERENCE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION,” Trump wrote late Sunday on his social media site.

The outburst follows reports that Trump is awaiting a possible indictment and arrest over the hush money scandal. In his tweets, Trump accused Bragg of breaking the law by using the “fake and fully discredited testimony” of Michael Cohen, a convicted liar and felon, to prosecute and indict a former president.

Trump has spent the past weekend calling on his supporters to protest outside the Manhattan DA’s office, which is expected to indict him in the coming days. Bragg has responded by vowing to uphold the rule of law in New York and warning that his office will not tolerate attempts to intimidate them.

Trump claimed Monday that the statute of limitations has expired on his case, an assertion that legal experts reject. “More importantly, THERE WAS NO CRIME!!!” Trump added.

  1. Manhattan DA Should Be “Charged & discharged” from all duties, for sedition vis a vis 2024 election as well as for failure to prosecute summer 2020 looters

  2. So any alleged criminal can just declare himself a candidate for President in the next election and obtain a “get out of jail free” from the local prosecutor since any indictment for his crimes would “interfere” with his electoral campaign. What a “stable legal genius”!!

  3. “ALVIN BRAGG SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE CRIME OF “INTERFERENCE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION,”

Um, yeah, only, you know, that actually isn’t a crime.

Then again, neither is whatever he is thinking of charging Trump with, so I guess they’re even. Except that he hasn’t actually charged Trump yet, perhaps because he’s still desperately looking for something that will pass the laugh test. Whereas

  4. Bragg has responded by vowing to uphold the rule of law in New York

Rolling on the floor laughing. If Bragg gave a **** about the rule of law he’d resign. Or start actually upholding it, against actual criminals, not Trump.

Trump claimed Monday that the statute of limitations has expired on his case, an assertion that legal experts reject.

Really?! Which “experts” are those, and from which brand of cereal boxes did they get their law degrees? Even if Bragg thinks he’s found some offense to charge Trump with, the statute of limitations is going to be a major roadblock.

The bottom line is that Trump is an idiot and an ignoramus, not to mention that he lives like a beheima, but he has not committed any crime, and for Bragg, who routinely and as a matter of policy ignores actual crimes, to charge him would be a gross abuse of his office.

But we will see what actually happens. Trump made up the whole “Tuesday arrest” thing, so let’s wait for some facts.

  5. Trump is clearly upset. Any charge by the Manhattan Grand Jury will pale in comparison with the expected charges from the Department of Justice and the Georgia Grand Jury. One must assume he’s having nightmare about a potential perp walk.

  6. Millhouse: “The bottom line is that Trump is an idiot and an ignoramus, not to mention that he lives like a beheima…”

Moishiach will be here very soon, and long before Trump is indicted for hiding payments to his prostitute or election interference.

When Milhouse and I agree on ANYTHING, De Gehulah is just around the corner

  7. Bragg who has allowed the zoo gorillas and all the other filthy violent predators out on bail to maim, rape and kill is putting the pedal to the metal to prosecute a 7 year old bookkeeping error. Well done. Bragg has earned his stripes and will be our next governor.

  8. So if the DA should be charged with interfering with an election, trump should surely be charged with trying to overthrow an election!
