An Orthodox Jewish teen was left shaken after he was robbed of his electric scooter at knifepoint by three black teenagers in Crown Heights.
The victim was reportedly scootering near Empire Blvd. and Troy Ave. on Monday afternoon when he was approached by the trio, with one of them brandishing a knife and demanding his scooter.
Other than understandably frayed nerves, the Jewish boy was not injured. The suspects fled the scene before the NYPD and Crown Heights Shomrim arrived.
The NYPD and Shomrim are now conducting an investigation, with surveillance footage obtained to assist them in identifying and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
