RAGING: Trump Melts Down Over Positive Conservative Media Coverage of DeSantis

Trump was clearly in a fit of righteous rage when he went on a tear against numerous conservative media personalities and outlets on Sunday, apparently apoplectic over their positive coverage of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Based on his Truth Social post, it appears the mercurial former president had his tinderbox of a temper set off by an article from Salena Zito in which she profiled DeSantis for the New York Post.

“In writer Salena Zito’s Fake News ‘puff piece’ about DeSantis, which supposedly appeared in the dying New York Post, which is way down in readership just like FoxNews(sic) is way down in Ratings(sic), why doesn’t she mention that he wants to cut Social Security & Medicare, loves losers like Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, and Karl Rove, and it(sic) getting CLOBBERED in the polls by me,” Trump hammered on his keyboard.

“DeSantis is a RINO who is trying to hide his past. I don’t read the New York Post anymore. It has become Fake News, just like Fox & WSJ!” he claimed, though he obviously saw the Post’s profile of the Florida governor.

In another post about three hours later, Trump went after DeSantis again, attempting to tie him to Republicans long-accused by him of being “RINOs.”

“Support for DeSantis cools in latest GOP POLL.” Washington Times. Of course it cools. He wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, loves “Throw them over the cliff” Paul Ryan, who is destroying FoxNews and the WSJ, Piglet Karl Rove, and “Jeb.” Also, Ron DeSanctimonious is for Globalist Club For NO Growth, and Open Borders Charles Koch. We want AMERICA FIRST, NOT AMERICA LAST!!!” Trump wrote.

Trump also attacked Fox News in a separate post congratulating an “election denier” on winning the leadership of the Michigan GOP.

“Congratulations to Kristina Karamo, a powerful and fearless Election Denier, in winning the Chair of the GOP in Michigan,” Trump wrote, despite having opposed her candidacy. “If Republicans (and others!) would speak the truth about the Rigged Presidential Election of 2020, like FoxNews should, but doesn’t, they would be far better off. The New York Times stated that “This cements the Party’s takeover by Trump loyalists.” I don’t call them loyalists, I call them GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOTS!!!”

  1. Trump is the ONLY candidate I can think of who will gladly set aside his ego for the sake of the country. This is something we need now more than ever! Trump 2024!

  2. Trump doesn’t need to attack him so early. As soon as DeSantis needs to actually answer hard questions regarding Foreign Policy he will be shown for the doofus he is.
He has no Foreign Policy experience and he probably can’t find Ukraine on a map. He probably can’t even name the countries that border Ukraine.
Today he said these 2 genius statements, “I think it’s important to point out, I mean, you know, the fear of Russia going into NATO countries and all that, and steamrolling, that has not even come close to happening.”
“I think they’ve shown themselves to be a third-rate military power.”

  3. Jackk, Trump had no foreign policy experience other than possibly from some foreign affairs. In that respect he was no different than DeSantis.
Does anyone think that Trump is able to set aside his Ego? He’s the only former President who wears jackets with the Presidential seal while golfing. This is going to an interesting 20 months of campaigns.

  4. TRUMP WINS AGAIN!!! Has all the foolish YWN clowns cooking!! EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTED. DONT GO TO SLEEP WITHOUT ME ON YOUR MIND! SIMCHAS PURIM!!

  5. Former President Donald Trump remains a top pick among Republican voters to clinch the 2024 Presidential nomination, according to recent polling from the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll.

Nearly half of respondents in the Feb.15 and 16 poll supported Trump, who in this survey, polled twice as high as presumptive rival Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The survey asked Republican voters which candidate they’d support if the 2024 GOP presidential primary were held today. Nearly half, 46%, chose Trump. DeSantis came in a distant second at 23%, a slight decrease from previous polling.

Former Vice President Mike Pence was third with 7%. Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, was fourth, with 6%, an increase from previous polling. Haley announced her run for the White House last week, becoming the first to challenge Trump.

  6. RAGING: Once again Yeshiva World shows their IRRATIONAL and INSANE Anti-Trump Bias as they write ANOTHER emotionally based CHILDISH headline.
