HEAR THE COCKPIT AUDIO: ‘I Wouldn’t Really Call It A Balloon’; Pilots Describe Object Before Shooting It Down

Recently released audio recordings have revealed the tense moments when F16 fighter jets attempted to shoot down a UFO over Lake Huron in Michigan. The event occurred as the mysterious flying object entered sensitive Defense Department bases over the Great Lakes. This was the third incident of its kind in US airspace in three days, prompting officials to take action.

Despite a Pentagon memo stating that the object was a ‘small, metallic balloon’, the pilots struggled to define the UFO in the in-cockpit communication. One of the pilots noted, “I wouldn’t really call it a balloon… I can see it outside with my eyes.” The object’s octagonal structure, size, and shape caused confusion among the pilots, and they had a hard time discerning its color. They even speculated that it could have had potential surveillance capabilities, making it a safety flight hazard.

During the operation, the pilots were concerned about colliding with the object, which was moving slower than the fighter jets, making it difficult to identify precisely. One pilot described it as being “definitely smaller than a car,” while the other likened it to the size of a “four-wheeler.” The object also had a tethered payload, which the pilots noticed, but they were unable to determine its nature.

The incident eventually cost the military nearly a million dollars, with the pilots using Sidewinder AIM-9X missiles that cost $400,000 per shot. The first missile missed, and it took two attempts to shoot down the UFO successfully. Despite the White House laughing off suggestions of alien involvement, officials are under pressure to explain the recent UFO sightings.

In summary, the released audio recordings provided insight into the confusion and difficulties the pilots experienced when attempting to identify and shoot down the UFO over Lake Huron. The incident adds to the mystery of recent sightings of unidentified flying objects in US airspace.

  1. A Drone

So in the year 2023 we couldn’t get some cameras to lock in on that so called UFO and record every last millimeter of it…

I have to go now, I have a bridge to sell

  2. The “U” in UFO stands for “unidentified”. Just because something is not identified doesn’t mean that it has a fantastical or alien source.

To illustrate, those who post comments on YWN are unidentified. Does that mean that they are alien or part of a nefarious conspiracy ?
