Thousands of Belzer Chassidim remained in Yerushalayim on motzei Shabbos to take part in the Million Man Atzeres on Sunday, 1 Rosh Chodesh Adar II.

At shachris Sunday morning, there were many surprised chassidim after Hallel was recited as the Rebbe Shlita began saying slichos, pesukim associated with Tashlich. The minhag in Belz is for the rebbe to recite Hallel. Talmidim and avreichim then dedicated the hours prior to the atzeres to limud towards meriting the abolition of the gezeiros.
