FED UP: NYC Mayor Adams Underwater as Crime Rages

As violent crime continues to plague the Big Apple, New Yorkers are losing their patience with Mayor Eric Adams, particulalry over his leadership in the area of crime.

A new poll from Quinnipiac finds that the mayor’s approval rating has dropped to just 37% – Joe Biden territory, if you will – compared to 43% who disapprove of his job performance.

New Yorkers’ main issue? Crime, of course. In all 5 boroughs, a majority or plurality said that crime in the city is their greatest concern.

“A law-and-order mayor confronts a cold winter of discontent as crime far eclipses all other voters’ concerns,” Quinnipiac analyst Tim Malloy said of the poll result.

For his part, Adams said that he’s not concerned by his dipping poll numbers.

“Polls go up and down, up and down. We’re just going to do what we do — and that’s produce for New Yorkers,” Adams said.

  1. I don’t blame Adams. How can he reduce crime when the DA’s either can’t or won’t prosecute criminals due to insanely liberal state laws? Why should cops risk their lives pursuing criminals when they’re just going to walk anyway? This is a society where “smash & grab” thievery is given a pass for fear of being called racist. There’s no point in trying to fight crime.
