Nick Fuentes, the twisted neo-Nazi and Holocaust denier who along with antisemite Kanye West dined with Trump at Mar-a-Lago in November, was reinstated on Tuesday by Elon Musk on Twitter. But Twitter suspended his account less than 24 hours after his reinstatement on the platform.
In one of his first tweets back, Fuentes posted a short video advertising the 2024 presidential campaign of Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West. The video included an apparent reference to a previous antisemitic tweet from Ye, in which he threatened to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”
Fuentes was banned from the platform in late 2021 for violating rules against hate speech and a new account of his was banned shortly after Musk took control of Twitter.
Weeks later, Fuentes and Kanye West went on Alex Jones’ radio program where West declared, “I love Hitler,” which made even the questionable Jones uncomfortable. Fuentes himself has praised Hitler many times and has also denied the Holocaust.
Fuentes is the leader of the so-called Groyper Army and holds an annual white nationalist conference, which in the past has featured speakers like Rep. Paul Gosar and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Under Musk, Twitter has reinstated controversial figures, including antisemites Kanye West, Andrew Anglin, Baked Alaska, and others.
