If you’re going to run a red light, the very least you should do is ensure that there aren’t any cops coming in the opposite direction.
The NYPD said that two of its officers suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon after a driver blew a red light in Borough Park and T-boned their cruiser on 17th Avenue and 59th Street.
The driver who ran the red light was taken into custody as EMTs treated the injured officers and transported them to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment.

1) There is no 17th Street in all of Boro Park.
2) Police often go thru red lights even when not on emergency calls, so who are they to arrest this driver when they don’t even practice what they preach
147: get glasses. The article says 17th avenue
The previous commenter, should learn how to read before commenting. It says clealy17th Av.
And he exemplifies CHUTZPAH in the way he talks about police.
A NECHAMA that we are in ikvasa d’Mshicha; as its known that CHUTZPAH will be rampant at that time.
puttinginmy2cents: 147 was correct. At the time of his comment the article said 17th St. It has since been edited.
@147, your comment is so ridiculous that I’m sure you’re just being sarcastic. At least I hope so!
