TRUMP ABOVE ALL: Two-Thirds of Republicans Say Loyalty to The Donald is Important for GOP

Donald Trump’s grip on the Republican Party appears to have loosened in recent months, but a clear majority of Republicans still believe that loyalty to the former president is important for the party’s future.

A poll from CBS News found that most Republicans expect the party to follow Trump’s policies and views. More interesting is that 35% said that loyalty to Trump is “very important,” while another 30% said it is “somewhat important.”

81% of Republicans said they want a 2024 presidential candidate that has similar views to Trump, including 66% who said they want the 2024 candidate to have the same views as Trump regarding the 2020 election.

Republicans are split, however, on two matters: whether they want their 2024 candidate to act in a similar way that Trump does, and whether they want Republicans to work with Democrats or focus solely on opposing President Biden’s agenda. On these issues, Republicans were split about 50/50.

  1. Let’s face it:- President Donald Trump שליט”א broke the speaker impasse by placing a few phone calls & smart comments to the hold outs, so in his special way, solved this.

So Of-course President Donald Trump שליט”א is the face of the Republican party, and probably the only qualified mediator on the face of this earth, to broker a ceasefire between Ukraine 🇺🇦 & Russia 🇷🇺, just as he experienced incredible הצלחה with Kim & North Korea 🇰🇵

  2. But for Donald Trump, the Republicans would have solid control of both Houses of the Congress, and probably control of the White House as well.

While Trump has not made only clear statements on foreign policy, based on what his supporters say and what Trump did as president, Trump appears inclined to stab Ukraine in the back, which will only encourage Putin to try to reclaim more of his “lost territories”, and will similarly encourage China, North Korea and Iran to pursue aggressive policies – meaning a big chunk of the Republican base (i.e. those who supported the ideology of Ronald Reagan) will abstain or vote Democratic. It isn’t clear if disdain for the WOKE nutcases is enough to make Reaganites want to cave in to the resurrected “Evil Empire”. Trump really has spoken clearly on foreign policy, and he could turn around and say that what makes America great is leading the free world in opposing tyranny, which would radically change the situation, especially if the dove-wannabees in the Democratic party start to assert themselves.

  3. Does “loyalty” to The Donald mean you gotta vote for the guy in a presidential primary? Commit crimes he advocates? Be wild when he asks?
