A man wanted for a vicious assault on a Jewish girl in Flatbush was arrested on Monday.
Sources tell YWN that a a local resident spotted the man on Coney Island Avenue and Avenue J, who he recognized from the widely distributed “wanted poster” that Shomrim disseminated. The man quickly called Boro Park Shomrim, who was on the scene in seconds, and confirmed that it was in fact the same man. The NYPD was called, and he was taken into custody.
The disturbing incident occurred last week in the vicinity of Avenue J and East 5th Street. The entire incident was captured on multiple security cameras, and the NYPD and Shomrim were searching the area for him since the assault.
