A 2-year-old child in Boro Park is miraculously alive after his carriage was struck by a 24-foot truck and the youngster getting caught between the truck’s wheels, BORO PARK SCOOP reports.
The terrifying incident occurred on 20th Avenue and 52nd Street at around 5:15 pm Thursday when the child was sitting in a stroller and was slammed into by the massive hauler.
The carriage was mangled beyond recognition and the child thrown from it, landing underneath the truck.
Hatzolah paramedics rushed to the scene fearing the worst, only to find that the child had suffered no more than minor scrapes and bruises.
“This is a true neis Chanukah,” an astounded Boro Park Hatzolah paramedic remarked.

Clearly this child is absolutely obligated to recite ברכת הגומל despite his exceedingly young age.
Where was the stroller when it was hit? Did the truck jump a curve?
A nice thought but Halacha says that any child under Bar Mitzva does not Bench HaGomel. He is not a Chayav and can’t say הגומל לחייבים tovos.
We once had a potentially very dangerous situation with my then 4 year old and asked a rav. This was a long time ago and I can’t remember exactly, but he basically said if you feel she was saved, my husband should say gomel on her behalf. And he did.
Many many mothers stick the strollers into the gutter when they are waiting to cross the street. והחי יתן אל לבו. If you are old enough to get married and have children then you have to learn to think. Its unintentional but happens way to often.
where are the parents in this story?
not enough answers….was this on purpose……
