YWN regrets to inform you of the petirah of Rebbetzin Fraida Milka Lavi a”h, the rebbetzin of the late Tosher Rebbe ZT”L.
The rebbetzin is the daughter of Rav Mendel Hess zt”l of Montreal, and had previously been married to R’ Avraham Yizchak Hauer z”l of Williamsburg who was niftar many years ago in an accident in New Hampshire.
She got remarried to the Tosher Rebbe after he lost his first wife – Rebbetzin Chava Weingarten a”h – 27 years ago.

You must respect the standards of others.
If they consider it improper and disrespectful to publish the Rebbitzen’s photo, how can you disregard their values?
Lack of respect for others ( even if you have a different שיטה) represents the new low of our generation.
Is mutual resect something to ignore?!
Treat others as they should be treated – by THEIR standards, especially when their standards are higher.
But what is even more disappointing is that the Mods Note proclaim to the readers that “It’s okay to trample on the values of others”; “There is no need to respect the values that others hold dear – if you don’t agree with them”; “I can do as I please without regard for others”.
Is that the standard you wish to set?!
Git Meshige, they did report the story. The days when “journalists” used to routinely break into people’s houses and steal photographs to publish are thankfully over. If YWN were to try that not only would they be arrested, but in all likelihood they wouldn’t even find any photos in her home!
