ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!!!: Trump Blames Media for His Midterms Failures

Donald Trump has been taking a lot of heat from both the mainstream media and conservatives following the GOP’s disappointing midterm election results, with many accusing him of sabotaging their chances by putting himself over party and endorsing weak candidates.

Trump has now responded by attacking the media, saying how what they’re saying is “fake news” and that they’re the “enemy of the people.”

“Incredible how dishonest the Fake News Media is,” Trump raged on Truth Social. “The Failing New York Times has gone crazy. So many of the people I Endorsed went on to victory on Tuesday Night, nobody was even close, and they literally make up a story refusing to write the facts, and only quoting enemies and losers. Almost all of the people I endorsed WON, yet if you read the story from two Trump hating writers (who only do as they are told!), you would not even recognize the truth. They truly are, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!!!”

“…219 WINS against 16 LOSSES IN THE GENERAL ELECTION, and yet the Fake News writes only unrecognizable junk. No wonder they are all doing sooo badly!” he added.

Unfortunately for Trump, the reality doesn’t match his delusions. It isn’t clear where he got his 219 number from, but regardless, the vast majority of candidates he endorsed that won were heavy favorites to begin with. The ones he endorsed and promoted in tougher districts and states did, overall, terribly.

  1. YWN, please calm down. This is not our fight, you forget you are in golus. Why are you bashing him like this? Please keep it classy. Or are you on the level of the NY Post? Please keep the rhetoric down!

While at this point I wouldn’t vote for Trump because he talks too much and his huge ego is making him appear unstable, it is really unfair that everyone is blaming him for the Republican disappointment. I think it’s absolutely disgusting how everyone is attacking him like a pack of wolves. The fact is that more Americans are woke, irrational liberals and it may also likely be that the elections are fraudulent. Trump barely made a dent in the overall picture and I think he’s being used as a scapegoat. Regardless, even if Republicans lost elections because of him (which I doubt) there’s still no reason to attack him like this. No candidate was forced to have Trump campaigning for them.

You should learn from DeSantos how to ignore the temper tantrums from Trump.

You should move on from Trump instead of constantly harping on him with babyish titles like you are some trashy media outlet.

  2. If Trump would get out of the way, there are other rational, stable, quality candidates who could put the Republican Party and this country in the win column. You have Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo to name a few. Let’s hope that he can be persuaded that he is so detested by many that the majority of voters would reject him even if they are for conservative policies.

    Excellent post.

President Trump is also right that the media is anti-American as it is essentially the publicity organ of the Democrat party. They deceitfully covered up John Fetterman’s condition to enable him to beat his opponent in PA. And on and on.

  4. @philosopher you’re wasting your breath. Some people just don’t get that that the internet is a global village and not the BMG coffee room. lol

  5. Philosopher, please calm down.
The fact is that even though more Americans are woke, irrational liberals, that’s not why Trump’s candidates lost.
Woke, irrational liberals would not be voting Republican, Trump or no Trump.

Rather, the problem is that the middle, those who are neither liberal nor solid Republican and who COULD have voted Republican, did not — when that candidate was a Trump candidate. SOme Republicans even split their ticket, voting for the non-Trump Republican in one race and the against the Trump candidate in the other — ON THE SAME BALLOT.

So, yes, if the Republicans want to win the middle, they will have to dump Trump.
