NARCISSIST: Trump on Midterms: “Thank Me if Republicans Win, Don’t Blame Me if They Lose!” [SEE THE VIDEO]

An insane and stunning quote from former President Donald Trump as votes were being counted on Tuesday night has shocked and angered Republicans across the country.

Trump told News Nation that if Republicans wind up doing well in the elections, he should “get all the credit,” but if they lose, he “should not be blamed at all.”

Trump made the comment as he lamented being blamed when bad things happen to Republicans.

“Usually what would happen is when they do well I won’t be given any credit, and if they do badly they will blame everything on me,” the persistently aggrieved Trump said.

The reality is that Trump can be blamed for Republicans’ midterm election results because he chose to make himself a central figure in it by all but announcing his 2024 presidential run just days before the elections and attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

  1. One thing most politicians value above all is their own survival. The numbers from 2022 suggest that Trump is a LOSER. The candidates he supported underperformed. Trump may be able to win a primary, but it doing so guarantees loss in the election. And the one thing professional politicians hate most of all, is a LOSER.

  2. Is it that media cannot tell when Trump is being sarcastic or is it that media, in its rishus, tries to portray his sarcastic comments as fact? I have plenty of qualms about trump but in this quote it is obvious that he is using sarcasm to make a point – any idiot can see that.

  3. Whether it’s sarcasm,Narcissism or just plain stupidity it’s clear he was already anticipating last night‘s fiasco. The most common word on Fox this morning was “underperformed” with reference to the Republican candidates failing to secure the red wave anticipated. Obviously he will claim a few victories but the number of losing Republican candidates is breathtaking

  4. Trump entertains plebes and distracts them from the fact that they’re being squeezed out of society. He has an important job. If they didn’t have their hopes pegged in Trump, who knows where things would go. Trump has my support.

  5. >>>“Usually what would happen is when they do well I won’t be given any credit, and if they do badly they will blame everything on me,” the persistently aggrieved Trump said.

I actually agree with him. Had the Republicans done well I would not have given him any credit and I do blame him for the Republicans not doing so well.

At this point Trump can only mess things up. Had the Republicans done better it would have been despite him not because of his. The fact that they did not is to a large degree his fault.

  6. It’s so obvious he’s said this mockingly and not seriously! But narcissistic speaking, he is World’s #1 narcissist. May Kim Jung Hu, Watt, Ware beats him: maybe not. Tough one!

  7. If this were the first and only such comment, it might be possible to ascribe it to sarcasm. However, since he has a very long, seemingly endless stream of remarks of this sort, it is most likely just another immature, narcissist remark spewing forth from His Excellency the Donald. BTW, in the video, he doesn’t sound very sarcastic.

  8. Trump always thinks everything is about him. He chose to endorse real low quality candidates including a New Jersey resident to run for Senate in Pennsylvania.

  9. He’s being מקיים the wisdom of “לך מנגד לאיש כסיל”. He’s doing the opposite of the Media.
They blame him for everything and give him no credit for anything, so he’s doing the opposite…

  10. The big מעלה of Trump – and it’s a shame people are too shallow to realize it – is that he says what common folk think but would never say.
Most people in their mind think like that all the time. When something’s good they’re proud and take credit, but when thigs go wrong they blame others. But they would never say it like that out loud. Trump is just says it unfiltered…

  11. “Usually what would happen is when they do well I won’t be given any credit, and if they do badly they will blame everything on me,”

Exactly the opposite of YWN headline. What he is or is not has nothing to do with YWN hateful headline

  12. Nice to see that YWN is lifting stories from other lamestream media locations without giving them the credit. Instead you are taking the credit for their stupidity.

Let me teach you something that perhaps you are unaware of, the media will not take President Trump down because the media was not the one to bring him up. With all the other politicians once the media turned on them, they were toast. President Trump won despite the media.

Was it a disaster for the Republicans? No. Was it as good as it was hoping to be? No.

So what was it? This was a situation where far too many people voted strictly on their party no matter how bad the candidate was for the Democrat, the Democrats voted for their party. There were some splits as was evidenced in Pennsylvania where apparently double digit people voted for Dr Oz instead of voting for federman but they also voted for Mushchas Shapiro as their governor.

Unfortunately we are a very divided country politically. Far too many people are very happy getting the handouts and unfortunately far too many people don’t understand that they are being ripped off by their government. How anyone could go to the polls without realizing that they are now paying double for gas than they were two years ago or anywhere between 33 and 50% more for food than they were two years ago or for that matter They are paying almost 50% more for almost everything of theirs now than 2 years ago, is completely and utterly baffling. It seems like people are very very very happy having their head stuck up someplace where the sun don’t shine .

My hope is that we are able to have enough people realize that this can’t continue and if it does we are no better than any horrible European country.
