In yet another unprovoked attack in the Big Apple, a man shoved a 32-year-old onto the northbound L tracks at the Wyckoff Avenue and Myrtle Avenue subway station in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.
Surveillance footage released by police shows the aggressor scouting out his victim before sprinting and body-slamming him, causing the helpless man to be knocked off his feet and tumble onto the tracks.
The subway shover then picked up his bags and fled through the turnstiles.
The victim suffered a shoulder injury, but was luckily not hit by a train. The suspect, meanwhile, is still loose, and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
The attack is just the latest in the ever-rising violent crime scourge sweeping New York State in general and New York City in particular, attributed by almost all to the state’s unwillingness to push back against criminals or amend its broken bail reform laws.
The rising rate of violent crimes in the Big Apple have resulted in Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin pulling even with incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul in the New York governor’s race, and threaten to upend the political status quo in deep-blue New York.
In a tweet, Zeldin noted the attack, writing: “This is the dangerous reality of life in Kathy Hochul’s New York.”

Chris Wray and Merrick Garland are correct. White supremacy is THEE greatest threat facing this Nation. I’m surprised Kamala Emhoff and Alejandro Mayorkas are not taking this whiteness problem seriously.
What is Zeldin going to do?
Let me guess… was it a dark skinned man!?
People should cease calling the mutants who commit these crimes “mentally ill,” which is a not-so-subtle way of mitigating their responsibility. They may or may not be mentally ill, but that is not finally the point. They are evil.
This is anti-subway propaganda. Millions of people ride NYC subways every day, and a rider gets pushed onto the tracks what, like once every few weeks? That’s like 1 in 50 million. Statistically that’s practically zero.
Time to shove hochul & latitia far away from any government or other positions
Vote Democrat, Askonim say
It is not a problem that began with Hochel, it is a problem that has been going on for many many years. However is does need to be taken care of.
these mutants are mentally ill and so is most of this planet…..unfortunately it is difficult to state anything other than the fact that we must bring our jewish souls home to Israel, nothing is more important than this….it is what we are to do…as far as New York it is dying like Spain Europe, Torah safe in Israel, Hashem safe at home….the rest of you will disappear like those during the flood, Biden will do it like Adolph Hitler using gummy bears made from fentanyl …..the new gas chamber is China’s pharmaceutical supply ……Ukraine, China, Iran and on and on…one big chamber of buried souls
The governor (regardless of party or ideology) has nothing to do with law enforcement on the New York subways. That is a local matter. Blame the mayor, or the district attorneys. The governor appoints the chairman and some members of the MTA board, but the policing and prosecution for subway matters is local.
Zeldin has already said what he is going to do Reb Eliezer – he’s going to immediately end the cashless bail program.
Reb Eliezer-
You have a few choices-
1. You can go to his website and look up yourself how he plans to deal with the surging violent crime rate,
2. You can realize on your own that whatever the current administration is doing is clearly not working and vote for him even without knowing what he’s going to do since it can’t be worse.
3. Keep voting Democrat and come up with a good excuse for Hashem in the next world why you knowingly voted for a political party that is diametrically opposed to everything that the Torah and Frum Yidden stand for.
Ridership is down while these incidents are up (both as compared to, say 2019), Thus as a “percentage” of ridership these incidents are rising. Thus it is the trend of rising that is worrying. On top of that, the public nature of the incidents (even if relatively “few”) lead to mass psychological trauma.
Eliezer,
So when Democrats fail so miserably that even you can’t shill-up any more lame excuses for them, your refrain is what is the opposition going to do? Zeldin has been discussing how he’ll deal with the soaring crime rate since he announced his candidacy. Despite your occasional cute d’var Torah, your politics are right out of the Jurassic age.
vote zeldin
zeldin had a gun fight in front of his house. Zeldin would arm very criminal
